Cape May 2012

Well, we just returned home today from Cape May. We had been there since Saturday and as Matthew is crying and whining already, I miss it!  We had fabulous weather except for one day.  I am so not ready to go back to work and reality!

Matthew is now a Dragon Fly!

Well, its been an interesting week.  Matthew started his new room at Children's Village which means new room, new teachers and new kids (except Saul who moved up with him, thank god).  Hopefully he will adjust soon,,,,for now it means leaving him as he is crying his heart out begging me "to go back home".  I call down to his new room to check in about a 1/2 hour later, and apparently his is FINE after a little while, yet I still head to work crying! 

Although he looks happy below, this was just visitation morning.  When I left to go back to work that morning he was soooooo mad.  Did not eat his lunch....... This will never be easy!!!!

2012 Lake Wallenpulpak

We spent this past weekend at Frankie and Mary's lake house!  Matthew loved the boat, pool and of course riding in the golf cart down to the lake.  The lake and their boat were beautiful...and it was nice to get away, even if just for one night!  For those of you who know me very well....guess what... I jumped into the lake, yes me....unchlorinated water! 

Ask Matthew where we went and he'll say Lake Poo-Pack...

Mommy's Birthday

On the 14th,we celebrated my birthday.  Matt made us delicous scallops and lobster tails, and cleaned up too (well, for the most part)!  We sang once when Peg and Frank were here on Sunday and again on my actual birthday.  Thanks to my mom for singing to me at 6:30am when she came to watch Matty that day!!... Among other things, Matt bought me a $5 scratch off lottery ticket and I won $100!  Woo hoo! 

Play date!

Yesterday we had our first "official"playdate.   We met up with Matthew's best buddy from school, Saul..... We met at a park then went back to Sauls' house for lunch!  Thanks!!  The kids had a great time....
